5 Million Tourists Expected in Bulgaria this Year
01.03.2007The Bulgarian Institute for analyses and evaluations in tourism has forecast that 5.6 million foreigners will visit Bulgaria in 2007. This will represent an 8.2% growth on 2006. Some 1.9 million of them will arrive to the country to do business and the rest - for holidays. The analysis suggests that Bulgaria is among the countries with the lowest price levels for organized tourists. In the meantime, the number of Bulgarian tourists abroad is forecast to rise considerably reaching almost 3 million.
