Ban on Construction Works in Golden Sands
01.04.2007The ban on construction works in the Black sea resorts of Golden sands and St.St. Constantine and Helena near Varna, sea capital of Bulgaria is to come into force on 1 May 2007, reads the ordinance issued by Varna's mayor Kiril Yordanov. According to the ordinance all building sites, nearby area and streets must be cleaned and the construction site must be rendered safe. Trucks and other types of heavy machinery are not to be allowed to enter the two resorts after 10 May 2007. Construction debris must also be removed. The ban does not affect the finishing works in hotels if they with the noise pollution requirements. The ban on construction works is to be lifted on 15 October 2007.
